This group consists of several similar species. C. rhomboidiformis has tall stems carrying flowers 3-5cm across with stiffly held petals and sepals and a diamond-shaped labellum with short fringes. C. longiclavata has similar sized flowers with longer labellum fringes, petals and sepals that hang down and a smaller labellum. C. arrecta is distinctive with the petals being held up (reaching) and the sepals held down. C. ensata is distinguished by its smaller flowers with shorter petals and very short labellum fringes.
